SASSA might be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed in regards to the higher range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area every day. The provider place created for intervention experiences a sassa status check higher influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it complicated to the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more means to empower the servicing of all buyers and maximize access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
